PROGRAMME OVERVIEW
Getting people to work as a group can be difficult if the spirit of comradeship is not there. People tends to have different perceptions, or worse still, suspicion of others that holds them form exploring the best for the organization they work with. Some may not want to cooperate or prefer malingering and let others do the works Having a dead wood in any organization can be a pitfall especially if the company is a small or medium size. It can jeopardize the smooth running of line departments and affect the relationship with the customers, whom the organization must at all cost, maintained. It is with this scenario in mind that this team building module is developed
COURSE OBJECTIVE
This course is designed to stimulate team sprit and team work amongst the
staff and the end of the course the participants will be able to;
- Understand how people with self centered behavior effects the team
- Understand how to get team to cooperate and agree to a goal.
- Understand what causes friction to team members.
- Understand the leadership skill that makes a team moves towards certain goals.
- Understand why people behave erratically when there is uncertainty.
- Why people fear of the unknown.
- Why is important for a team members to work as a team.
- Get along fine with the rest team members
- Create the spirit of comradeship amongst the team members
- Establish Johari Window for the team
METHODOLOGY
To get the best results, the course will be conducted at a camp away from the company premises. (the camp can be selected later) Both indoor and outdoor activities such as obstacles courses, jungle tracking, shall be included. At the end of each activities, results will be discussed and rationalized.
