"EFFECTIVE PROJECT MANAGEMENT FOR CONTINUING SUCCESS"
PROGRAMME OVERVIEW
Every company undertakes some form of projects to sustain growth. Therefore the continued success of their well being depends entirely on how well the projects are being managed. Project management, whether IT or otherwise, is all the same like other business projects where the three elements of time, cost and specification, are the main criteria to measure the success of the project. The main difference with IT project compared with the engineering project, is its lack of tangibility and its continuous improvement given to the systems to meet the current and future needs. In view of this, system development uses a technique called system development life cycle (SDLC) process. Although it is primarily identified with structured analysis, the SDLC describes activities and functions that system developers typically perform, regardless of how those activities and functions fit into a particular methodology.
