SYNOPSIS
The art of making decision by the personnel is critical to any organization. A wrong decision made by the organization can be de futile or even worse disastrous, and to recover may take time and money or it may even it be irrevocable. It is under this guise that staff needs to be trained to critically thinking minded. Any problems faced need to be analyzed and properly identified and the right corrective action taken.
COURSE OBJECTIVE
At the end of the course the participants would be able to:
- Understand the concept of problem identification and differentiate the
issues from symptoms and causes.
- Solve problems using lateral thinking and the six thinking hats
- Solving problems using Kepnor Tregor concept
- Practice the process of brainstorming as part of problem solving
- Look at problems out of the box
METHODOLOGY
A highly interactive program with issues thrown in and the participants are expected to solve them. Lectures, case studies and regular group works are normal. An actual company issues would used for the brainstorming process
